1. No Accounts, No Sign-Up
Balance It ("we", "our", or "us") is a physical education app developed by ConnectedPE Pty Ltd that helps teachers, coaches, and students practice balance skills through games, lesson plans, and activities. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Balance It does not require you to create an account, sign up, log in, or provide any personal information to use the app. You can download and use Balance It completely anonymously.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
- We do not create or store user accounts.
- We do not collect precise location data.
- We do not access your camera, microphone, photos, or contacts.
- We do not sell or share personal information with third parties for marketing.
- We do not collect any student data.
3. Information Collected Automatically
3.1 Anonymous Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand how the app is used so we can improve it. This data is anonymized and does not personally identify you. It includes:
- Screens viewed and features used
- Game completions and session duration
- Device type, OS version, app version, language, and country
- Anonymous installation ID
On iOS, we request permission via Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before enabling any tracking. You may decline tracking at any time, and the app will continue to work fully.
3.2 Crash Reports
Anonymous crash and performance data to help us improve stability. No personal information is included.
3.3 Purchase Data
If you purchase the Teacher Pack, we use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID to determine your premium entitlement. We do not receive your payment information, credit card details, or store account credentials.
4. Locally Stored Data
The app stores some data locally on your device using the operating system's secure storage:
- Routines you create
- Progress (points, levels, task completions)
- App settings
This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us. Uninstalling the app removes all locally stored data.
5. Lesson Plans & Content
All lesson plans and balance activities are bundled directly in the app and display on your device without network requests. No personal data is transmitted when you browse content.
6. In-App Purchases (Teacher Pack)
Purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective privacy policies. We only receive anonymized purchase events (purchase, renewal, cancellation) tied to an anonymous user ID.

7. Children's Privacy
Balance It is designed for use in educational settings. Because we do not collect personal information, do not require accounts, and do not access cameras or contacts, the app is safe for use with children. Teachers and parents remain responsible for supervising student use of the app.
If you believe any personal information has been inadvertently collected from a child, please contact us and we will address it promptly.

9. Your Rights
Because we do not collect personal information, most data subject rights are managed directly on your device:
- Opt out of analytics: On iOS, decline the App Tracking Transparency prompt or disable tracking in iOS Settings. On Android, disable ad personalization in Google settings.
- Delete data: Uninstall the app to remove all locally stored data.
- For users in the EU (GDPR), UK, California (CCPA), or other jurisdictions with privacy laws, you have additional rights including the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
10. International Users
Balance It is operated from Australia. Anonymized analytics data may be processed in countries where Google operates servers, including the United States.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
